Panic buying of fuel has continued overnight and into Saturday as motorists continue to queue at petrol stations.
Boris Johnson is expected to announce 5,000 special temporary visas for HGV drivers and the Army may get involved in helping to clear a backlog of HGV driver tests.
In the meantime, the BBC sent a very aptly named reporter to a petrol station in Stockport this morning.

Some will have no choice, If you can't get to work without fuel they will have to pay whatever price they are charging!
I heard that BP on the Formby bypass had put diesel up to 142.9 yesterday, Dick Turpin is alive!

They should set limits on fuel purchases while the idiots are out filling their vehicles, and then filling up their fuel containers, put a limit of say £20 for a car used for personal use,and a limit of £30 for any Taxi and Private hire vehicles, and unlimited for ANY Emergency vehicles.

Why blame the BBC, it's apparently been started by somebody who works for the RHA who previously had worked for the BBC in an unknown capacity, you have been reading the Daily Mail too much.
